EVERYONE is welcome to come along, and try their hand at dried flower arranging and icing cupcakes - all materials provided!
With help from our friends at Bristol Dementia Action Alliance (BDAA), we'll be raising awareness for Dementia Action Week by running a 'Flowers & Cupcakes' activity Café. Everyone is welcome and all materials are provided, so come along and create a beautiful dried flower arrangement with the help of some of our lovely flower team at All Saints. In addition, you can try your hand at icing and decorating a cup cake, which you can enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee - and yet more of our famous home-made cakes!
Lisa and Jeff from BDAA will be there to chat about the amazing work they do in and around Bristol, and will have plenty of information to hand out. Also coming tomorrow is Louise Baird of Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Centre/The Alzheimer’s Society, who’ll be bringing some of their literature, too, and will also be available for a chat.

Friends Together - Thursday 6th June, 10am-12pm
Our next Café is on Thursday 6th June, 10am-12pm, and this month we'll be visited by Sarah Hale of Avon Community Therapists, who provide holistic Occupational Therapy services to patients in their own homes across Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, and surrounding areas. They work compassionately with people to maintain their independence and manage the impact of their health conditions on their day to day lives, whatever their particular health issues may be.
Sarah will give a brief introduction about what she does, and then will be available to chat to everyone on an individual basis during the course of the Café. Do take a look at Sarah's website here which will give you a bit more information on everything.
WHERE - the bright and spacious Randall Room on the 1st floor of church (lift access)
WHEN - the first Thursday of every month (see the flyer below for contact info & all dates to end of 2024)
EVERYONE is welcome to come along, for conversation, support, information and friendship
PLUS FREE REFRESHMENTS - including delicious home-made cakes!
WE'RE VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!

About Friends Together......
The All Saints dementia friendly café, Friends Together, is just one example of the many volunteer-led dementia support initiatives in Bristol. The Café – originally called Friends on Friday – launched in May 2017 to coincide with that year’s Dementia Awareness Week.
Following a break during the Covid Pandemic, the Café was relaunched as Friends Together - now on the first Thursday of every month from 10am-12pm - and six years’ on, it’s going from strength to strength. The Café is totally free, and whilst aimed at those living with dementia, their friends, family and carers, it’s essentially open to everyone and anyone, and provides activities, information, conversation, and friendship, along with tea/coffee and delicious home-made cakes!
