Meet the All Saints Ministry Team

All Saints is an active church.  Many of the worshipping community are engaged in roles that serve both the church and its mission.  Here are some of the people you are likely to meet if you visit.

Fr Charles is the Vicar at All Saints Clifton and the Area Dean of Bristol West. He has been a priest for more than thirty years, though through most of this he has worked in industry as an Organizational Psychologist.  He is also Bishop's Adviser on Self-Supporting Ministry and the Chaplain to the Community of the Sisters of the Church in Bristol.   Until 2011 and retiring to Clifton, Fr Paul was the Vicar of St Pancras London, previously having been Fellow and Chaplain at Sidney Sussex Cambridge.  He has also worked and lived in the SW as the Vicar of Plymstock.

Orignally from Swansea, Fr Paul has become a Bristolian since moving here in the 80s. He Teaches Christian Liturgy at Trinity College where he is also Director of Anglican Formation.   Fr John  is very much the musician amongst the ordained team.  He was Canon Precentor at Portsmouth Cathedral and is more often found in the choir than in the All Saints sanctuary.  He also has a responsibility for Christ Church City.

Wendy served her title at St Pancras Plymouth and has since moved to Bristol.  She is Licensed  as Associate Priest here at ASC.  Her pastoral and missional strengths will add to the breadth of work carried out in the local and wider community.   Previously the Chaplain at Clifton College, Fr Peter now assists in a number of Bristol parishes.

Sister Teresa is a member of the Community of Sisters of the Church.  Her primary ministry is lived out with her Sisters in the St Pauls district of Bristol, where they work to address the needs of an increasing population of those in social need, suffering from mental health issues and addiction.       Liz is a Licensed lay Minister at ASC.  She is very engaged in the pastoral work within and beyond the parish and in the organization of the Parish Retreat and prayer and meditation events.

Helen Clifton
Jessica shares her time as Licensed Lay Minister between All Saints and All Hallows Easton. As a retired teacher, she has a particular interest in St John's School, and is a key figure in the All Saints ministry team.   Helen is a Licensed Lay Minister who is with us during a period of extended placement.  She is centred at All Saints but also works in the parishes of Leigh Woods and Abbots Leigh.

The Revd Jane Too-dera
Fr James is enjoying his curacy at All Saints. Initially made Deacon in the USA he has been Licenced to ASC where he is formally the Assistant Curate. He is a Self-Supporting Ordained Minister and works across a number of ministry roles in Bristol.   Jane (known as the 'Reverend Auntie') is a tutor at the Janani Luwum Theological College in Gulu, Uganda.  Her ministry is very much with the Ordinands at the College and in preparing them for their future ministry.  At ASC we sponsor her for her Higher Degree and hold her work and that of the College in our prayers.
