All Saints Remembrance Events & Services
November 2025
November is traditionally a month of remembrance. See below all our events and services which help us remember those who have given their lives for others in wars past and present. We also remember those dear to us who have passed into the nearer presence of God: family and friends, those for whom we have cared or who have cared for us and those who have changed our lives.

All Souls Day: Fauré Requiem with readings - Sunday 2nd November at 5.00pm

Gabriel Fauré's Requiem with additional readings for All Souls Day
The All Saints Choir
Conductor: Huw Morgan
Organ: Eric Tyson
On All Souls Day, those who wish to remember a loved one or loved ones who have died recently, or more distantly, can silently offer the names and lives of those who have passed into the nearer presence of God. Those we have loved; those for whom we cared and who cared for us; and those who have changed our lives.
Lists will be available in the Atrium from the end of October for you to add the names of anyone that you would like to be remembered in either a Book of Remembrance displayed on Sunday 2nd November, or read out during any of the said Requiem Masses below.
Parish Mass for Remembrance Sunday - Sunday 9th November
(10.15am gather at the ASC War Memorial)
We gather at the All Saints' War Memorial outside church at 10.15am to hear a list of names of those from our Parish who lost their
lives in the two Great World Wars - uniformed service people and non-combatants, alike.
We also remember all those who have died or who have been in any way affected by wars since then, up to and including the present day.
A wreath will be laid at the War Memorial and we shall observe a two minute silence.
When you go home, tell them of us and say
For your tomorrow, we gave our today.
Said Masses, in addition to the main Parish Mass on Sunday 9th Nov, will take place at 10am on:
-
Wednesday 5th
-
Friday 14th
-
Wednesday 19th
-
Friday 28th November
At all of the above Masses, participants can offer – silently or through the prayer of the priest – the names and lives of all those dear to them who have passed into the nearer presence of God.
